OptionEase,
Inc is an online stock administration and compliance tool designed
around all aspects of the new FAS123R regulation. The
application keeps track of all option grant activity, calculates the
fair market value for each option and allows financial professionals
an easy organized method to stay compliant. With backdating and
questionable practices involving stock options, it is imperative that
the CFO and Audit Committee implement solutions such as OptionEase that
are SOX compliant and fully secure.
Prior
to founding OptionEase, Kimberly Kovacs was co-founder and Chief Financial
Officer for ORYXE Energy International, Inc., an Irvine, CA based fuel
additive company. Ms. Kovacs was responsible for successfully negotiating
and procuring the first round of funding for the startup company and
raised over $35 million for ORYXE Energy during her tenure. ORYXE
Energy is the single greatest CleanTech investment in Orange County,
servicing the largest oil companies in the world.
Prior to
joining ORXYE Energy, Ms. Kovacs was the Chief Financial Officer for
RosettaNet, in Santa Ana, Calif. RosettaNet was a not-for-profit
trade consortium representing most of the Fortune 500 global companies. RosettaNet’s
charter was to develop e-commerce standards for rapid, mass adoption. During
her tenure at RosettaNet, she also worked closely with McKinsey & Company
to create, develop and deploy a merger with the UCC.
Ms. Kovacs
has also been Senior Partner at Tech West Partners, and has served
as CFO at a number of companies, including Greenland (a public company)
New Media Corporation and CROCE’s. She also held a position
at Deloitte & Touche
as an Executive Consultant.
Ms. Kovacs
is an active member and advisor to the Association of Women in Technology
and an active member of E2. She
also held the position as Chairwoman for Alpha Project for the Homeless
for 8 years and served on the board of ORYXE Energy.
Ms. Kovacs
graduated with honors from California State University at San Diego
with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration /Finance. |
