Annette Smith is all about being a great connector. She is a firm believer of helping others get the resources they need to achieve their goals, see their accomplishments and reach success. She is also well-established in business development within our Southern California technology community and takes an active role in many of the business and entrepreneurial programs to help Orange County’s technology professionals and businesses reach their goals.
Annette attended college at California State University, Fullerton and currently holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Management. Her core expertise includes fifteen years of technology solutions, business development, and management for specific organizations across the country. Her clients' industries include technology, entertainment, financial services, healthcare, biotechnology, and higher education, to name a few.
Today Annette serves as Director, Business Technology Development at Irvine Technology Corporation (ITC). ITC is a local Technology Staffing and IT Projects Solutions company with a national presence. Some of ITC’s clients include The Walt Disney Company, Wachovia, The Irvine Company, Experian, Facebook, Visa, AARP, K2Networks, The Capital Group Companies, and Edwards LifeSciences.
Additionally Annette is a founder, past President, and currently serves on the Advisory Board for the Association for Women in Technology (AWT). AWT is the only non-profit, women's technology organization in Southern California. Annette is also the founder to AWT’s thriving Mentorship Program. She is also an Advisory Committee Member for Corinthian Colleges National Academic Program.
In her personal time, Annette enjoys family (first), surfing, wine, movies, and spending time with her husband of ten years, Scott Smith. She is also actively involved in YLO (Young Leader's Organization) through The Vance Caesar Group and is a Delta Zeta Sorority Alumna from California State University Fullerton.
