About AWT
The Association for Women in Technology is the only
non-profit women’s technology organization in
Southern California dedicated to the advancement of
women and girls in all fields of technology. As a dynamic
forum for networking and learning opportunities, AWT
hosts a variety of activities and events including
our Quarterly Women's Technology Leadership Forums,
Mentorship Program, Girl
Education Program, and Scholarship Program. AWT is
a 501 C(6) organization and AWT-CF (charitable foundation)
is a 501 C(3) organization.

Quick Facts
The AWT chapter holds meetings approximately
every other month, attracting women in every area of
technology, from those just entering the field to senior
level management and technology innovators. Our meetings
attract upwards of 150 people and range from large events
with panel speakers to networking happy hours. Women
and men are welcome to attend events as a non-member,
with event costs ranging from $15 - $35. Event meetings
are held in different locations in and around Southern
California, please check our upcoming events page for
details.
Membership
Membership for the AWT is just $100
per year. Memberships run 12 months from date of purchase.
Woman of the Month
Every
month AWT honors the women in Southern California
that are making strides for all of us in the field
of technology. Our Woman of the Month Award recipients
receive a free one-year AWT membership and recognition
at our meetings. This award is for women that are:
Role models for women in technology; involved with
industry advances; paving the way for women by her
accomplishments; in a technical position after overcoming
great diversity. If you know someone that is deserving
